Service

As students and members of the music organizations at Northern Michigan University, we give back to the University by offering our time and services. While our focus is music, we are open to any service opportunities within the community of Marquette, MI (and beyond for alumni!).

We have volunteered for the annual Jazz Festival, Solo and Ensemble, ushering concerts, setting up and tearing down Reynolds Recital Hall, equipment transportation, giving music lessons to students at Bothwell Middle School, putting up posters for concerts, and fundraising for the Marquette City Band and North Star Academy.

Other service events we have participated in include Make a Difference Day, Relay for Life, the UP 200, the Moosewood Nature Center Haunted Bog Walk, and crocheting winter items for those in need.
